After its start in San Sebastian in 2010, this annual event has quickly become the most influential meeting of the European robotics community.

"Robotics for Europeans" was the motto of the  7th European Robotics Forum (ERF) which took place on 21-23 March 2016 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. 758 attendees from all over Europe and beyond participanted in the Forum, along with 27 exhibitors and 10 sponsors.

"Robotics in arts and culture" was the motto of the  6th European Robotics Forum (ERF) which took place on 11-13 March 2015 in Vienna, Austria. 600 attendees from all over Europe and beyond participanted in the Forum.

“City of Robots” was the motto of the 5
th European Robotics Forum (ERF) in Rovereto, 12 ‐ 14 March 2014, attracting more than 480 participants from the European robotics community. Researchers, engineers, managers, and a growing number of entrepreneurs and business people from all over Europe came together to discuss topics and contents having an immediate impact on the roadmapping process for Robotics in Europe.

"Building the future of European Robotics", the
3-day event, from March 19th to 21st 2013, took place in Lyon, France.
During the entire European Robotics Forum 2013, participants were able to visit the INNOROBO event (, free of charge. The program for the European Robotics Forum 2013 consisted in community-driven workshops with many interesting speakers. Each day, the forum presented five exciting tracks about the newest developments and trends within robotics.

"Towards new horizons", the
European Robotics Forum 2012, took place at Magasinet in Odense, from March 5th to 7th 2012. This 3-day event was focused on the latest news concerning research and business by giving attendees the opportunity to attend community organized workshops and conferences. The European Robotics Forum, was organized by the European robotics networks EURON, EUROP, the euRobotics Coordination Action and hosted by The Danish Technological Institute.

"Enabling innovation: from research to products", the European Robotics Forum 2012 took place on 6-8 April, in Västerås, Sweden, with Robotdalen as local host. It was organized by the European robotics networks EURON, EUROP, and the euRobotics Coordination Actionand it gathered 350 participants.

The ERF2010 was still called "EURON-EUROP Annual Meeting". It took place 10–12 March 2010, in Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain, with Tecnalia as local host. It was the first time to have official "European Commission Forum", with two items: European funding of robotics research: current activities and perspectives (Libor Kral / European Commission - Head of Unit Cognitive Systems, Interaction, Robotics), Factories of the Future PPP: Multi Annual Roadmap. (Rikardo Bueno, Tecnalia).
